Live Designs Collection

Gannett

Gannett strives to empower communities by building trust and sharing exclusive, high quality journalism on the topics that matter most. During my time at Gannett I have worked on projects that took an extensive amount of time (such as Onboarding) and smaller design projects completed over a short period of time. Below are a series of small design projects I worked on that are now live and can be found out in the wild as users engage with them.

eNewspaper Magazine Promos

Each month I designed a new eNewspaper magazine promotion for national and local brands to peak subscriber interest. These promos aim to increase engagement with the subscriber-only benefit of reading a digital version of the newspaper which contains seasonal stories, celebrity interviews, and more.

Subscription Landing Pages

We began designing new landing pages to match our evolving brand, align with updated UI designs, and better communicate with users. These were intended to have a fresh, modern feel with essential information for users to consume regarding their subscription plan. We strive to be transparent with users about what they are paying for so they can make the most out of their subscription while reading award-winning stories.

Group Sales

With our newly designed landing pages, I worked to seamlessly integrate a group sales promotion targeted towards students, educators, and military personnel. These promotions encourage subscription sign-ups by offering discounted prices to select groups and inform users how to sign-up and qualify for the special deal.

Stop-Save

In order to reduce churn and increase retention of our subscribers, I updated the designs of our cancellation flow to provide more incentive for users to keep their account and continue reading with us. These designs emphasize a promotion to reduce the price of their subscription if they stop the cancellation and save their account with us.

Memory Board Emails

Following the launch of our highly anticipated Memory Board for obituaries, I designed a series of emails to inform users about their posts. These emails keep them updated on the status of their post and if they received any replies to it. We want to promote engagement with the Memory Board which means keeping open communication with users so they know we are paying attention and want to help in any way we can.
